Music exists everywhere on earth. Music is found in every culture from past to present.
Music is influenced by all aspects of that culture, society, economy, technology, history and even climate. Therefore, music itself is a culture.
What is "music" ?
It is defined an art form whose medium is sound organized in time.
What is "music education" then??
I just noticed that I have never thought deeply about the answer. What does music education mean to me??
According to Wikipedia, music education is a field of study associated with the teaching and learning of music. However, (in my opinion), the purpose of music education is not only teaching and learning music but also helping development of healthy soul throughout the musical activities.
Any agreeable sounds can be a music and that is how and why the music is fundamental constituent of human life.
Music is essential methods of expression of emotion and ideas. Music is an artistic form of auditory communication. Music is an universal language. And these are the reasons why we need "music education".
